The programme is offered to people who want to obtain the skills and knowledge required to perform clothing production tasks. This includes making a marker; bundling pieces of cut work; making and placing tickets and labels; constructing, manipulating and grating basic pattern blocks; performing cutting, sewing and pressing operations using industrial equipment in a clothing production environment and selecting and handling materials as part of clothing production operations; and demonstrating knowledge of HIV and AIDS in the workplace.
